High-performance sports flooring with excellent shock and noise absorption
Our sports flooring provides secure, non-slip footing during cross-training, weightlifting and many other activities. It reliably absorbs impacts, noise and vibrations, protecting not only your equipment and joints but also your relationship with the neighbours.
The high-quality rubber material is designed for long-term use and is suitable for both professional gyms and demanding home gyms.
Optional: connectors for sports flooring
Optional connectors are available for our sports flooring. They allow multiple tiles to be mechanically joined together for added stability, especially in open training areas.
However, if the flooring is installed wall-to-wall, adhesive or connectors are generally unnecessary. Its own weight and the surrounding walls keep it securely in place.
For professional use or heavily used training areas, the flooring can also be glued down for maximum adhesion. PU adhesives for rubber flooring, available from hardware stores, are suitable. Common product names include 1K or 2K PU flooring adhesive or PU construction adhesive for rubber and rubber granulate flooring.
Alternatively, you can use the connectors if you want the tiles joined together while keeping the flooring removable or modular.
EPDM-based sports flooring: The ideal choice for a long-lasting gym floor
Our gym flooring is made with high-quality EPDM rubber and offers exceptional durability, dimensional stability and resilience. Compared with conventional types of rubber, EPDM is particularly resistant to ageing and has a low odour.
EPDM is considered one of the highest-quality materials for professional sports flooring and has proven itself for years in busy training environments. The flooring retains its properties even under intensive use, making it a reliable solution for gyms, cross-training facilities and commercial training areas.
The sports flooring also meets the European fire classification EN 13501-1 (Bfl-s1) and complies with Swiss RF3 fire safety requirements. It therefore meets stringent safety standards and is also suitable for professional use.
The sports flooring is easy to clean: simply wipe it with a damp cloth to keep it clean and hygienic.
Good to know: EPDM-based rubber is among the lowest-odour materials for professional sports flooring. Immediately after installation, you may notice a slight new-rubber smell. This fades on its own over time and disappears completely with normal use.
Recommended installation method for sports flooring
Sports flooring is best installed in a staggered pattern. Cut every other edge tile in half with a utility knife and use the cut halves elsewhere in the layout without gaps, so this does not increase material consumption. This installation pattern not only looks best but also gives the flooring maximum resistance to slipping, especially if it is not glued down.
